So I write something like this and am aware that the fact that it’s about breasts is going to be the draw for a big portion of my readers.
That’s not why I wrote it — its not clickbait — but that fact stands.
Your compliment is humbling and speaks to you being kind of incredible. Scratch the ‘kind of’.
Most of my readers are women who can relate on some level, because they have or had breasts, or straight men who are interested in the breasts that are attached to the women they are attracted to. And that’s great! They are people who will immidiately “get it” because this story relates to their personal experience. And that’s why I write — to connect with people and find threads that tie us all together.
You, however, don’t appear to have skin in this game. You took the time out to read something that (presumably, and inferred by your comment) does not have a direct application to your life and yet you seem grateful to be able to access a component of the human experience that you otherwise would not have naturally found occasion to.
That’s really cool. You are curious and open and empathetic. I’m grateful that you took the time to respond. It’s an incredible compliment. (((HUGS)))
